Job Description

The Specialist will provide support on data analytics, reporting, and auditing for compensation-related systems and processes. This position will work with internal customers to provide analysis of data, reports and recommended solutions. Requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, customer focus and the ability to explain data and ask clarifying questions to ensure data requests are truly needed and are based on a business need to know. This position is also responsible for providing data analysis/report recommendations based on identification and resolution of data issues.

Responsibilities

Conduct data analysis and reporting for internal customer requests.

Effectively interact and communicate with customers to ensure understanding of the data, reporting requests and business needs; ask clarifying questions to help provide timely results.

Extract data from payroll and HRTMS system databases for manipulation and analysis in Excel.

Develop and conducts routine and ad-hoc audits and analyses utilizing multiple systems' data sets. Forms conclusions and recommends corrections and continuous improvement opportunities.

Develop/enhance compensation-related processes, e.g., Company Performance Adjustment, identifies opportunities for improvement to increase operational efficiencies.

Provide analytical support for all compensation-related projects utilizing Access and/or Excel formulas such as V-lookups, etc.

Assist in preparing submissions to market salary surveys and tracking results.

Education + Experience

High School Diploma; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Relevant experience in data analytics required. HR compensation experience preferred.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong overall understanding of Microsoft Office products required.

Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information and form logical conclusions required.

Ability to scrub data by systematically examining it for flaws by using rules, algorithms, and look-up tables required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and customer focus required.

Strong organizational and time management skills required.

Proven history of project management preferred.
